i hate, hate, HATE when people drive through parking lots over the parking stall lines. those are solid lines. granted they are not road markings, but they are solid lines that are there for the sole reason of marking off a parking space. i can't even count the number of times i have been in a near accident (while i was driving in a designated lane, mind you) because some douche waffle was cutting across across the lot over all of the stalls or just driving THROUGH the parking space instead of backing out of the stall. it is safer to reverse out of a stall than to drive through it, so i can't understand why people succumb to their laziness.

i'm so upset just thinking about it.

also, i hate when i am behind an SUV that is making a turn into a driveway, or going over a speed bump reeeeeeally slow. aren't those things supposed to be capable of going off road?

and lastly, i hate the sound of workers at coffee shops burning the milk.

« glik : 13 year olds "dating". Gives me the creeps.

Manga fans who try to explain to their buds that every single anime is different, because one's eyes are slightly larger than the others.

8 year olds with nice cellphones.

Anyone less than 12 using swearwords repeatedly.

Tweens in bands.

Smokers in cars.

Really reckless drivers with infants in the back seat.

First year at a sleep-away camp, and everyone else arrives and says "I'm baaaaack!" That haunted me in my childhood.

I've got more, but I'm boring you.

I must also say that it annoys me to see large people who are on disability because they are large (not from thyroid, just over eating) and complain all the time when chairs or doors are too small, or if they have can't find a handicap parking space so then they are actually forced to walk farther than 6 feet to get into a business.

and they complain that healthy food is too expensive... so is walking and not getting a large soda and biggie fries.

yes I know these people.

I have many pet peeves but only one that will set me into pitbull mode. That is, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I hate it with the depth and breadth of my being.

I HATE IT. I HATE IT. I H.A.T.E. IT!

I will, for even the smallest item, go to the full length of tracking down the highest person in a company to get treated properly as a consumer. As it should be.

One time a bank I had an account with went belly-up. They never notified me and transferred my account to some bank at the back of beyond. I wrote checks against the old account which naturally bounced. After ranting at them for awhile they covered the checks and the fees but when it came time to transfer the remaining balance of my account to a bank within my hemisphere they charged me a $1 transaction fee and refused to rescind it. I got the Banking and Insurance Commission involved at that point, it just had to be done.

I am currently in a fight with Sears over a defective clothes dryer I purchased 2 weeks ago. I have finally gotten someone to give me the number of the corporate legal department there (Sears has better security than the NSA, it's one my biggest challenges so far). I have much experience with lawyers so I'm waiting until I am completely calm and have my plan of action lined up before calling (I also will contact my old boss, the class action attorney, prior to calling Sears legal). I've also already filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs. I could go into details of what Sears has and hasn't done so far but suffice to say, it would have been way easier for me to acquiesce, which is exactly what they want and expect. I won't do it.

I think too many people let retailers get away with stuff and so I'm out there fighting the good fight for us all (hey, it's comforting to me to believe that so hush).

When anyone besides Step (he's official - he has a website) corrects message board grammar. Nahhh, not really... just remember it's about the idea behind the words - we're "talking" here.

My real peeves:
#1 would be the customer service thing. I'm with you on that, dolly. And good on you for chasing down and calling the companies on their crappy (lack of) service!!

#2 would be those that complain about volunteers. You don't like the way it's being done? Then get off your butt and help out, otherwise shutthehellup!

My Pet Peeve: People who use questions as greetings. Seriously, if someone asks me "How's it going?" or "What's new?" I figure they want a response. If you want to greet me, just say hello. Don't ask me about my life and keep walking.

//End Rant.

I do this and when I catch myself not actually waiting for a reply, I feel like a d**k. Now I'm worried that the other person thinks that too. Call me on it if I ever do it to you, kyot!

My absolute biggest one is a driving related one: tailgating. It's so tempting to just slam on the brakes with tailgaters, but I resist the urge. There are so many reasons to leave space between you and the car in front of you. Safety, first. If a dog/ deer/ person runs out into the road or if there is an accident right in front of me, I'm going to be stopping or slowing down very quickly. Without enough space between us, you're going to end up in my back seat. Funny thing is, that's where I keep my kid, so if you survive the accident but injure my child, I might kill you before the cops get there.

People that somehow just can not take the shopping cart to the little area that stores them outside at the store.

Now I understand if it is raining and it is alll the way down the lane from you. But it really annoys me when the area is right next to 3 or 4 carts just pushed up against the curb. Just why?

These freakin' gray popups. They were gone for a long time. Then had to reload windows, norton internet security, updated antivirus with AVG, and I STILL can't get rid of these buggers. They don't show up as often as they do but they make me nuts.

Go into the Control Panel and open Administrative Tools (if it isn't already, set the Control Panel to classic view to see this).

Open Services and find Messenger on the list. Double click it and set the Startup mode to Disable. That stops it from turning on at start up and that stops those pop up messages.

Now, because of my job, I have a new pet peeve. It's when people call the Taco Bell customer service just because they waited for 5 minutes, or come other pansy ass whiny little complaint. If you wanna call, make sure it's something besides "I waited for five minutes, and this is unacceptable!" I really don't care. I've had people wait for an hour in the drive through because they were stuck and couldn't get out. I've had employees trying to beat the snot out of customers. I can fake the "I care" voice well, but I really don't if you have some tiny complaint.
