So, I'm going to get a new tattoo in an hour or so, and i thought it would be interesting to see what tattoos all the other plimates have.

I'll start with mine.
This is my first tattoo, It's the symbol of the band MuDvAyNe, but the three segments also represent, Family, Friends and music to me, the three most important things in my life.


This is what I'm getting today, I'm getting it as it represents (to me) life and death, everything and nothing. Something which means alot to me.

Zach and I are getting wedding bands tattooed when we get married.

Other than that, my body will remian unmodified. I don't even have my ears pierced. I had my eyebrow pierced for about a week but then took it out.

I wanna get two bible verses tatooed on me. Psalms 23:4, and John 3:16. The only two that stuck out to me, and the only ones I remember.

It's a water dragon and a fire dragon with the kanji symbols for "Daughter" (Water Dragon) and "Son" (Fire Dragon).

I have this on my ankle for my seabee son...

I have a tribal band on my left arm with a rose in the middle and a bumblebee hovering over it.

I have a pr of indian feathers, both war feathers with different colors and notches in them on my ankle....I need to make that a dream catcher and put a perfect white feather in there as well...as the feathers signify my past marriages.

I want to get a grizzly bear in a rage (head only) or a bear paw dream catcher on it....signifying the mother bear in me.

I need 3 more bumblebees on my body, to signify my children.

I have a large open rose entwined with a bud, both with a couple of thorns, that was custom designed by Spider Webb himself. Spider's style tends to be edgy and hard, but he designed mine to be feminine.

It was a gift from my late partner, Peter. I had wanted to do it for years, knew what I wanted, but it took his encouragement to finally get it done.

The day we were at Spider's studio, while he and his assistants were working on me, his then girlfriend, Annie Sprinkle - site NSFW, suddenly came out of the bedroom, opened the bathroom door, did not close the door, and sat down and peed. Turns out it was her birthday! All kinds of people were stopping in at the studio while I was half nekkid running around with a stencil on my butt.

I also want to design another tattoo myself, but haven't a clue what I want and where.

Suebe, you are not going to believe this but Annie Sprinkle is a friend of mine. She was a great friend of my mother's in their "hippie days" and just missed my birth by half a day. But she was there for the second day of my life and is the sweetest woman in the world.

We email back and forth and sometimes talk on the phone. It is so funny to hear that you met her. She's a lesbian now, you know.

And so I don't get accused of hijacking threads, I DO have a few tattoos. One of them is a takeoff on the Escher drawing where he is holding the crystal ball and sees himself-except mine is a scary skull guy. If I could take a picture of the back of my shoulder, I would show you.

I have a star on my lower stomach, and I'm planning on a couple more. :)

i have a total of four, 3 of which are on my left arm: a rose on my wrist, a green celtic knotwork band around my forearm and a celtic knotwork yin yang symbol on my bicep. the fourth is a small pawprint in a location no one but my sweetie will ever see. sadly i can't seem to find a good picture of any of them right now, but as soon as i can arrange one i'll post it.

Talk about a small small world!!! I know that she has crossed over to the girl side. Good for her to find her love.

It was funny that day. Her birthday. Roses arrived. I'm straddled over a makeshift whatever in their apartment getting tattooed. All these people coming around to celebrate. My ass and more showing all over the place.

Really funny. Glad to here that she is doing so well.

Try to take a picture in the mirror of your tatt. I have to scan pictures of mine - none are recent, and well...it does need a color touch up.

I love your tat, Suebee...that Rose is beautiful...sometimes it is hard to capture a rose in a tat without it looking cartoonish. Yours is awesome!
