Hi all,

Can anybody tell me why my karma never changes, why the site always says I was last on line two weeks ago and I joined three months ago?

Thanks.

your karma will go up slowly the higher number you are. It goes up quickly from 1 to about 5 or 6 then it starts to slow down. (base 12 i think) *correct me if I'm wrong*

you have posted very few articles so that is one place you lose potential votes.

Not all of your comments, but many many of them, have been rather rude and insulting this doesn't help gain karma. They haven't been so over the top for you to lose karma, but they don't exactly endear you to people.

The last online part is buggy. Ignore it.

Also try logging out then in again and clearing your cookies.

I'm at 16 on this computer but on my laptop I'm still at 14. Strangley enough when I upvote on my laptop it gives 16 points.

Thanks for the info everybody.

Thanks also 2manyusernames but I have never been RUDE! One thread only where I had a problem with you implying things that I had not typed!

I didn't imply anything. I quoted your exact words. That wasn't what I was talking about, heck I don't even remember what article that came from.

You have had numerous comments that were decidedly anti-american, not the wisest move in a site with people from all over the world, but mostly from the US.

Also when telling someone they've posted a duplicate, there is a polite way to do that.

As I said, they have been rude or at least appear to be rude, but you haven't gotten downvoted for them or at least no too much. Just pointing out posting less argumentative, less insulting comments can help get you more karma.

Take or leave the advice however you wish.

Plus you don't even have an avatar.

I don't know if it'll help you level up or anything, but it'd be nice to have something to distinguish you by visibly. You should also add something to your profile page instead of the generic "this user has nothing to say" comment that defaults on.
