The Tommy Tunes is an awards show for Houston area High Schools...pretty much an imitation of the Tony Awards. But they make a HUGE deal out of it, and have it in the Hobby Center (2500 seater theatre) and all the seats fill and it's the BEST NIGHT EVER and I'm rambling.
My school currently holds the record for most nominations (15/16 (we're not eligible for the only other 1)) and tied for most wins this year. (6 wins, including Best Musical).

I could go on. For hours. I really could.

Actually I love theater geeks. I was in orchestra in high school and we always played in the one musical our theater department did every year.

Hahaha, It was actually a very normal night.. the bus showed up and took me and 40 of my friends over to canada.. they tried to charge me 290 for the bus but the club ended up paying it for me when we got there.. I had about $300 worth of champagne and liquor and we all got retarded.. one of my ex's, the taller brunette in the light bluish top ended up showing up and we actually had a good time. My girls won the dance contest and paid my bar tab and 2 canadian guys tried to sneak on our bus back to the U.S. but ended up being detained at customs when I threw them off. lol

I have video of me giving lapdances to 4 girls in chairs lined up on stage but the club has to send it to me still, that was a nice show.. they all ended up tied up to the chairs with belts..
And I dont know if u notices my right hand all bandaged up but i ended up getting 8 stitches somewhere in there, lol tore my pinky half-off..
- I also woke up with a huge smile on my face ;-)

I was a theatre geek in High School, too. Unfortunately for me, my HS was so small that we only had One Act Play for 3 of my 4 years (and nothing else).

My niece, who's attending UT, wants to be on Broadway so bad she can taste it. She's very active in the theatre/acting/singing community in UT...and she's uber-talented, if I do say so myself.
