We've had several new users join in the past few weeks.

Hey, my names Jen. Ive been browsing plime for quite a few months now, just made an account a couple of weeks ago though. Im 25 and living in New Zealand. Ive just started a career in photography, doing weddings and portraits. I have a fabulous husband, yay. Ive been a bit scared to jump in and start posting cause I couldnt figure out how it all worked, but Ive gotta start sometime right;)

I came here from Worth1000, entered a bit over there, but now Im more of a Plime addict:)

The first thing I'm confused about is choosing an avatar (first things first!) - I tried to just choose one from the library but it said I didn't have any tags - I'm not sure where to put the tags it's looking for. I guess I could just find a picture to upload but thought there might be some cute options in the library.

And the other thing was I thought when I voted on something it would show up in my profile - kind of like a favorites. But, it doesn't seem to work that way. I'm sure I'll figure it all out as I play around a bit.

You have to add one yourself. Upload it from your computer. When you go to account settings, and are on the 'biography' tab; you will see three tabs: current image, select from library, and add new. You want to go with add new. In the future, once you've used a few avatars the "library" list will have your avatars on it. No tags just means that there are no images with sammie28 attatched to it.
If you go to your profile and click "news" and then click "liked" it should bring up a list of some of the news you've upvoted recently
