I'm Fanatic. That name is a carryover from my windsurfing days; I've hung onto it because it also aptly describes my approach to things that interest me. I'm a textor on Worth (We're a small but noisy crowd there). I'm also a sport rocketry nut^H^H^H enthusiast. I'm a program manager in a corporate R&D lab and at present aspire mainly to get my kids through college.

One day, I'll retire, start a little space exploration subcategory of technology here at Plime, build a little fort out of pillows from the couch, and happily bang away on the keyboard.

I've never been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, but it sure wouldn't surprise me. I'm an anti-social jerk with a strong dorky streak, which is why I love the net. In real life it's rude to turn your back on someone, but on the net I can just pretend I didn't get your mail. I'm arrogant because I'm better than you. I know it's true because I *could do something useful with my life if I wanted to!

I grow more inward and curmudgeonly every day. I aspire to live on a 10000 sq. foot island with my wife and our cats and NOBODY ELSE once the kids grow up. Yes. I'm a sour, bitter, aging man.

Mrs. G and I have been together for 13 years, we have four kids, anywhere from four to ten cats depending on when you count them, and a smelly dog that I sometimes love and sometimes hate. I think he also has Asperger's. We all live on Vancouver Island, we're surrounded by pot smokers, and we like to go camping and hiking. I don't know why they put up with me.

I've been everything from a dumb-grunt labourer to a freelance writer to an online psychic. I suffered a back injury several months ago, though, and there's no sign of improvement, so my life as a labourer may be over. I've decided to put my nerdiness to good use and learn how to program so I can continue to pay the bills. Watch for me on the cover of Fortune Magazine.

I came here from Worth1000, which sucks because there aren't enough hours in the day to spend the time I want at both sites. Sucks for you, I mean.

I've been a member of W1K for about 18 months and absolutely love it! I figured if Jax had such a success with Worth, he would probably rock with this site, too!

I'm 28 and my stomping grounds are in Southern California. Grew up as a surfer girl and now I can't get far enough away from the beach.

I am engaged to my best friend of 10 years and we have 2 cats. I can't have kids so the cats are our children. I plan on getting a Great Dane pretty soon. My fiance wants a miniature Pincher. We'll be a lovely couple walking our dogs....of course, he gets to walk the little one. :-)

I love photography and hope one day to be decent at it. I'd love to learn Photoshop but I don't know anyone who has the patience to teach me.

I sometimes talk too much and have a bad attitude but I'll try to be nice. ;)

Hi, I'm mysterio. I too came from Worth1000 and Plime is just as cool. I'm married with two kids. I'm a huge fan of Spider-Man, movies, Photoshop, photography... so Worth has been my #1 hobby since February 2005 and now I'm addicted to Plime for all the movie and entertainment news. I used to work as a projectionist. That was awesome! Instead of paying to see movies, the theatre paid me to watch every movie that came out. Then one day the theatre was looking for a new graphic artist and I applied and that's what I'm doing now. I love it.

Hello... Phildo here! My user name is a term of endearment givin to me many years ago by some drunk friends around a campfire, you can probably figure it out! I too come here from Worth and am trying to figure out the site. I'm a slow learner with sites like this since Worth1000 was the first and only site I had ever joined up until now. I guess I've been weary of trusting the internet and after researching Worth and its fine community I finally caved in. I probably won't contribute as much here as most will but I am interested in seeing how the site develops. I live in Vail, Az which is just east of Tucson. I have a lovely wife, 8 year old daughter, dumb black cat, gerbil and a bearded dragon named Simon.
