« epia : Hi, I'm Epia. I'm 22 years old and was born in Frankfort, MI. My family and I lived in the tri-county area for most of our lives, until I met a wonderful Army soldier and moved out to Colorado. Last year we moved down here to Texas (close, but not to close, to his family). I'm currently a housewife/student, working on my Doctorate in Sexology. As of yet we do not have children, but we do have three lovely fluff balls (aka. cats). They are as follows; Mia - Siamese, Sleigh Belle (Slayer, Lady Bug) - Silver Tabby, and Lili (pronounced Lily) - Rough Calico.
All right. Another Texan. I tell ya, us Texans are gonna take over Plime.

I know of at least 3 Kansans here on Plime, but there are 0 according to the user map. What's with that?

Some people might not have put themselves on the map - it doesn't happen automatically as far as I know.

I guess I should finally pop in.

I'm a born and bred Nooo Yawka who originally hails from the fine borough of Queens. Several years ago I transplanted myself north to the tiny village of Tuckahoe, which is about 5 or 6 miles north of the Bronx. I spend most of my time the past 2 years, in Atlantic Highlands NJ at my boyfriend's waterfront apartment!

When I'm not on plime or worth1000, I'm tooling around in my 1992 Subaru Loyale, aka "the happy hippie mobile", which is decorated with smiley face stuff, trolling for sidewalk treasures.

I was a music major (piano) in college, also studied graphic design at SVA in NYC. Spent 16 years in the computer industry followed by another 16 year stint in the financial services/insurance industry in marketing.

I like to travel, sew, play piano, enter corporate design contests, read, and "make stuff". I'm a Beatles fanatic and trekker.

As for my age, let's just say I'm "old enough" ;)

Hello,

My name is Jason, and I live near Baltimore MD.
I'm 30, I'm married, and I have 2 boys ages 5 and 19 months. My wife and I were HS sweethearts, we have been together for 13 years this April. I am a stay at home dad, and I have been for 4 years. I am very easily entertained, in fact I think this is the secret to marriage, happiness, world peace, and life in general. I work 1 or 2 days a week photographing weddings, mitzvahs, social events, and assignments. My work keeps me sane, and helps pay the bills. I have been a Worthian since 2003, and I came to Worth by the longago Fark/SA/SP link exchange, I don't visit any of those other sites anymore, Jax's place is my homey place on the net. Oh and I think Plime is really cool.

Hi, I’m sfeldner but you can call me Steve. I live in Minnesota, the highest taxed and most liberal state in the Union. I’d hate it here but I can’t move. After taxes, I can’t afford to go out of state for a vacation much less move. If you don’t believe that there is a liberal conspiracy trying to suck the lifeblood out of every human being, live in Minnesota for awhile.

My avatar is a picture of me… No, not really! It’s my new puppy Ike and I’m trying to keep up with his picture as he grows.

I found Plime as content for my Google personalized home page. I'm 48 years old and I'm very opinionated and sarcastic. I've found that comes in very handy here!

My name is Sterling. I was born and raised in Petoskey, MI. Later, meeting my future husband at college, we married and built a house near North Port.I work as a freelance writer for the local independent newspaper and enjoy spending my spare time surfing the web. I'm a hopeless romantic, I love to travel, and I enjoy visiting my family whenever possible.

Say Neiako - my wife always thinks about getting a Husky. She's home alone while I'm on the road (which is a lot), and feels like they would be a good breed for us to have. We hear they're very loyal and don't smell or shed like a lot of other dogs. Any thoughts as an owner? We like cats too, but she's very allergic. We already have a rabbit (Buddy), but as much as we love him, he's a typical rabbit. His four favorite activities are eating, napping, cleaning, and pooping. (dep, I know what you're probably thinking - don't ask.)

We used to have a rabbit at my house, but the dander f**ked with my allergies more than any other animal I have ever owned. We have two cats now (one that I hate utterly), and even the two of them do not screw with me as badly as that f**king rabbit.

Yeah, if either of us was even slightly allergic to rabbit dander, we'd be hosed. My wife had a cat when she was a kid, but he was a dirty kitty who never cleaned himself, so no allergy problems.

(For anyone who doesn't know, dander basically = dried spit & stuff.)

Of course, if you've already had a rabbit, then you already know the answer to what I thought you might ask (for anyone who can't guess, it has to do with following dep's advice).

Animals are gross, aren't they? But somehow we love them anyway. :-)
