People who get rid of animals should be shot, in the gut. Nothing makes me more angry than people who just decide they don't want their pets anymore. Seriously, it makes me so livid I don't know how to express myself.

I agree, it's a bit like marriage, you don't just decide that you want a new partner for no good reason, just because you fancy a change or you see someone else you quite like.

If you agree to be responsible for an animal then you take that seriously unless there's some really f**king good reason you can't anymore.

Me too! Me too! We weren't going to foster until my horse is gone because it's just too much with his health issues, and the two dogs we have now. But, there are so many in need of rescuing/adoption etc. that we decided to take him on for the rescue we volunteer for. It's been tough, really tough, he's a big puppy and my senior female and him got into it big time last night, but when he gets adopted into a loving home, it will be worth it.

Cats rate significantly higher than spouses.

20 people died on a russian sub as i found out yesterday... now when i was in, the russians were the mortal enemy. I had first hand experence hearing the men of the Kurisk tappin morse code on the hull, and ultimatly the tapping stopped. my heart went out to those men, my enemy, because they were my brothers in arms. they were fresh faced kids like me, doing there job, and payin the price for their service. my heart was heavy for many of the following days after the Kurisk. I've been out for 4 years on the 23rd of this month. but that same heavy hearted feelin came over me last night when i read the story. and oddly enough a huge part of me craves to be back underwater. each day growing greater to again fight the unseen, unheard war under the sea.
