« Antt : Alas, no. I have clicked on it lots, and still it flashes.
My envelope is alive. But it's never been able to do anything except flash. Except not flash, which is hardly a more terrifying method of torture. Instead, it will simply flash for the forseeable future, hoping its irritating flashiness (albeit only visible until I scroll once) will either eventually unlock the epilepsy in me and cause me to die or drive me into suicidal insanity or something.
I'm not expecting it to work. Look at it; it's an envelope. Sure, it's a little irritating. Sure, it's the animate monster version of the thing I used to know and love, but I don't think it's going to achieve a lot. I reckon it'll get bored after a while, and stop flashing. Then, dear sirs, the last laugh shall be mine.

Wow... This thread really works. I feel a lot better about it now.
Does it still flash if you log out and then back in to Plime? (or totally restart your browser?)

It's hard to get use to my pajama pants being too tight to be comfy. I look at them and my initial reaction is "yes! These will be great to wear today around the house!" and then I put them on and it's all "ugh, they're too tight".

Yay comfy pants, boo pregnancy.

Or something like that.

Yet another reason I hate why I live:

A comment on a story about a Louisiana man going ape when he couldn't promptly get a voter registration card, because he has to make sure "hat N----- doesn't get elected"
Jim Crow may have said...
The old geezer probably speaks for a substantial number of diehards across this country.

If I weren't afraid of soliciting a visit from the Secret Service, Lufkin style, I might make the observation that Obama will need more protection that any president in history.

I somehow feel that Obamamania is a result of an “in your face” attitude that Americans have who do NOT live in areas with large urban black populations.

As you travel about this country, the attitude of people toward blacks in mostly white states is altogether different than that in the South --- one of those “ignorance is bliss” type situations.

…Or as we say (tongue in cheek) in Port Arthur: “To know them is to love them!”
F you, subtle racism.

« Antt : My mailbox is busted.
I got a message, and it didn't show up in my inbox initially. I had to click on inbox on the left (even though default letter place is inbox) to see it, then I read it. Now my letter icon is still flashing yellow, even though I have no mail.
And I couldn't find the 'Report Bugs Here' thread to report it as a bug, so instead I just let it out here and hope that, in future, the pain of having a perpetually flashy yellow mail icon will be slightly lessened.

F**king coworkers!!!!!!!!!!! If I could slap anyone of them right now I would!

I'm on call this week. And I've been sick. They decide to do sh*t after hours to servers that cause issues. I get the phone calls, but they neglect to tell me what the f*ck they are doing in advance. So, I have to fix their sh*t and then find out after the fact what they did.

Inconsiderate fricking a-holes!

Traffic in LA bites. Seriously. It should NOT take 20 minutes to travel one mile, by car, on a highway!!!

On the plus side, my Navigon pronounces LAX, rather than spelling it as an acronym. bwuhahahaha!

I was in Anaheim a few years ago for work.

I had a rental car that had absolutely no get up and go. Driving it on the freeway, I seriously thought I was going to die.

I also got lost at 11pm at night in a bad section of town. Stopped at a gas station to ask for directions and realized the attendant was behind bullet proof glass. 0_0.

What is it about human nature that makes everyone a prick? Even the people you don't think are pricks are secret pricks on the inside, just too scared to let the inner-prick run free.

What coolguy said, and the fact that being nice seems to require more effort, some people have no inner-prick...Like the guy who invented marshmallows...can he really be a prick? I suppose if he invented the game "chubby-bubbies" he must be...Dangit I hate when people are right about people being pricks...makes me feel like such a prick...aint that a prick...(I like dots and prick is a good word at the current moment...)
