«yoornotme : Wow, you haven't been joking about living with stacks of boxes! I must admit that one small laugh did escape when I got to the picture from your kitchen. Something about the angled box that's not on the floor just did it for me. I see you walking past that box, stubbing your toe on it and kicking it while thinking "stupid box!".
I'm black and blue and all scraped up trying to move past all of this stuff. My computer desk is the biggest culprit. I had a 4" welt/black and blue on one thigh after banging into the desk.
And that stupid box keeps falling...It needs stuff in it to stop.
As many of you may or may not know, I recently moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom apartment so I could have a place to work. Since starting to freelance my talent, the 2 bedroom seemed a tad too confined and lacking the space I need in order to create my artwork and art my work.
Aside from the empty glass box in the corner and the white basket of electronics, my art studio is pretty much set up the way I want it with the exception of some cabling logistic issues I have to rework.
My Studio is small, but it is mine and in it I am.
Without further ado, this is Le Atelier de la Cuillere Tordue (The workshop of the Twisted Spoon)
At the entrance
My drawing table, with my current work. On the floor is Luma, a giant ceramic owl and my yoga equipment
My aquarium, which will have fish and plants soon, and my couch
My couch, part 2, with my orange tabby, the rolling cart that holds my laptop, next to the giant bookcase and the white basket of electronics that will go into the living room once we decide to buy a TV stand

The blue bear was given to me by my friend in high school. The monkey was given to me for my 12th birthday. The big bear was given to me by my mum for Christmas in 1993.

What pretty bed linens!! I'm getting ready to sew a new set as soon as I have enough floor space to spread fabric out. I've had this antique funky 50's fabric for a couple of years but haven't got around to making the duvet and pillow covers yet.
*looks around new apartment and realizes that's not going to happen soon*
Here is my lounge, no point in posting bedroom since all it is is a queen sized bed, couple side tables and a cupboard :) .. lol

Many plimates I talk to in the platroom know that I just recently got our new TV stand and I did a lot of wiring yesterday to hook up all of our electronic equipment.
For those of you who do not believe the fact that I collect vintage video game systems:
From left to right, top to bottom:
Super NES, NES, PS2, Wii, DreamCast & Turbo Grapfx 16

Kero, that rawks. Though you are lacking three of my favorite "vintage" systems! Playstation, Sega Genesis, and 3D0!. The Dreamcast is awesome though! :)
And if you have a Wii, you should at least have an XBox 360! ;)
