The "It doesn't need a thread of it's own" Thread

This thread is for those little things that you want to mention to your fellow Plimates but you don't think are worthy of their own thread. If we were all hanging out in person, it'd be fine to say, but in the forum, it doesn't really need it's own thread. Does that make sense?

Since I obviously have something that I feel like sharing enough to make a thread for little things like this, I'll start:

I was just at the laundry mat and was offered a job by a very sketchy (meth?) guy. Zach and I both got total creep vibes from him from the get go. I let him go on with his little meth spiel and even let him write down the name and the number to contact him for the job .He misspelled his last name (he left out some of the letters in Richardson) and he asked me for the local area code and forgot to write part of the number (ie, area code is 785, he did 785-1010. That's not a number). I thanked him, gathered my laundry, and left. CREEPY!

Thanks for this thread...I've been wanting to post about this for a while...but it didn't need its own thread.

First some depressing news...

My baby boy is almost 3. I can haz baby gurl plz?

I took these in a local topiary garden, and a photographer from the local paper was there taking photos of ME! For an article about people's jobs (I guess mine is interesting or something). The article should be out Wednesday, if the pic of me is good I'll link the article in this thread.

How bout earlier.. I was so f**ked up on meth... I went to the laundry mat and tried to hire this hot chick to... do some work and.... Oh f**k, I think I'm still messed up. I forgot the area code and s**t... Hahaha.

Oh damn. I don't even know if I spelled my name right.

If something doesnt need a thread of its own, then is it truly worth posting?

Like me telling you I cut my toenails today.

That info doesnt need its own thread, and it doesnt need to really be said either.

Anything that is worth saying takes a while to say and needs some effort.

I think a giant talking tree said something like that once.

So I'm at the laundry mat today minding my own business and see this weird exchange happen. There is this pretty young lady getting hit on or something like that by some crackhead looking dude. Meanwhile there are two young men with pamphlets and ties peeking through the window watching the girl. Whenever she looked toward the window the guys out side ducked. It was weird.

I just remembered another detail. The guys outside were eating Popsicles.

I ate a popsicle today. It was grape. My favourite hang-oot is the local laundry mat. I eat popsicles there. I saw a quarter on the ground. So, I picked it up. All in all, a good day was had by me!

Stubbed my toe on the corner of the TV cabinet this morning and ripped the nail off. I wanted to cry and simultaneously curse like a sailor but one of my little boys was watching a Discovery program about monkeys at the time so I just had to hold it all in until I made my way into the bedroom and collapsed in a heap on the bed and screamed foul words and curses against God into my pillow.

Oh, it's fine now. Thanks for asking...

*edit* Went to make a pot of coffee and we've run out of coffee. How did this happen!!!

I feel like I'm talking with a bunch of my friends when I'm on Plime. If I walked up to the local coffee shop and saw Punthe standing there, I'd say something like "hey, I just got offered a job by a meth head at the laundry mat". It's something interesting enough to say to a friend, but not conversation-provoking enough to devote to an entire thread.

*This is assuming I see Punthe at the coffee shop normally and not just a spontaneous Punthe sighting, because if it was a spontaneous Punthe sighting, I would be much more giddy and huggy.

Is it weird that I knew those pics were of your son without looking at who posted them? I thought, "he looks so much like blurmore" and then I looked over and saw your username and was like "well that must be why".

When I woke up this morning, I peeked out the window and it was snowing. I looked at the thermometer and it was -10C and it's still windy as heck. I don't want to go outside today now. I think the clouds forgot it's supposed to be melting, not snowing.
