You know, as bumbly and goofy as he could be/is, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone with that kind of media scrutiny not end up with some stupid-looking pictures.

Just sayin'.

These pictures make me laugh. I think Obama will have his gag reel when all is said and done. And, "W" is a goof ball, I don't think he's tried to refute that...there's nothing wrong with being a goof ball, even if you're President. People have their own style of humor.

After watching Obama on 60 minutes, I got a glimpse into his style of humor. He's a joker too in his own way and if you want to be President you need to have a sense of humor - be able to laugh at yourself.

I agree.

What is the difference between this:

And this:

Remember, George W. has been in the Public eye for almost 9 years. Obama has only been there for 9 months.

It's an Air Force Cadet.

But they're both pictures showing the Humor of the person...If you think the chest-bump makes Bush look stupid, then how can you say the Obama one is full of awesomeness?

You're not judging the picture, you're judging the person in the picture. It's a double standard.

Dude, I wasn't looking for a political debate lol. I was just saying that Bush looks like a chump in most of his pictures that I've seen. I personally find him hilarious.

I was just making a jokey, light-hearted comment about the whole Superman thing because Superman is pretty awesome.

I wasn't making a serious political statement, TBH I don't really have much of an opinion on American politics. In my experience most politicians, wherever they are in the world, are much of a much, puppets of the state who mainly serve to further the monetary and political/power interests of the government with little regard for the citizens they're supposed to be serving.

That's about the extent of my political views.

I corrected your statement for you. Being the resident Bureaucrat of Plime, I was compelled.

The Government consists mostly of public servants (aka bureaucrats) and a few elected officials (aka politicians).

Most public servants don't care about politics and simply just want to do their job. Their job typically is to implement the policy set forth by the elected official.

It is the job of the elected official to be the face of the government and determine the policy agenda. Most of the time, that policy agenda is influenced by lobbyists/campaign financiers.

So all that to say, it's not the government you dislike, it's politicians. But then again, it's the people that elect those politicians.

Go figure.

This has been a Cheeselog PSA, carry on.

Yeh, I totally meant to say all this.

It's just that "government" seemed a bit easier.
