Does anyone know latin? If so, please PM me. I need some help for a story I'm writing.

I've learnt a Latin word yesterday - Pestillum. It means to pound.

Jeremy... give it up. There's a reason why students fail at Latin even after years of studying. Latin has lots of features that lil 'merican boys have never heard of:

Genders (three!), cases (six at least!), declension and stuff...

It's possible to read and translate Latin (although one must be aware of the millions of exceptional forms and idioms), but I'd say that writing, i.e. producing prose in Latin, takes decades of practice.

Edit: In fact, downvoting you would be really mean. I know I can't necessarily expect someone whose native language is English to understand that verbs and nouns might be different concepts in languages more complex than English...
