Well, mine are addressed and should go in the mail today.

I will be selecting and addressing mine this weekend. They will go out ASAP afterwards, but 2 are going out of country, so I'll have to figure out the additional postage.

If you just go to the post office, they'll handle it for you. I sent 4 in the states and one to the UK, came to $2.02.

$.27 for in country, $.94 for overseas.

Yeah, but I figured I'd save myself a trip and figure out the postage fees online.


By the way...Big huge ups to Chinook for organizing the addresses and setting this up. good job kiddo!!

To answer your first question,

While I did pull the names out of a hat, it was easy to tweak it just a bit so that nobody will receive a postcard from someone to whom they sent one.

It started out that way on its own, and I was well over halfway down my list before I got the first set of Plimates mailing each other. I thought it would be neat to maintain the non-matching, so I just redrew a few names.

I will be on vacation this coming week. I am participating in the postcard swap v1.0 and will probably send those while I am there. (I have the list of addresses with me!)

I hope you don't mind waiting... I will get those out to you before next wednesday, if not I will bring those back and send them from home.

I will probably get my cards out after Memorial Day. I'm out at the Jersey shore now, and all the postcards are in NY.

I like how everyone is explaining why they're not getting their postcards out today. I might as well join in: I probably won't be sending the postcards out any time soon because I'm a procrastinator. It'll happen though, I promise.
