The ship soon stilled, other than swaying with the tide.
The deck was pretty much completely cleared, the few lounge chairs likely at the bottom of the sea by now. The door to the cabin was a few feet below the surface of the water; the door hanging open.

I think I'll make a mental note of this tree and any others I see like it. For now I'd like to collect a few quality spear branches and continue to look for fresh water while I see what can be done with them.

::Wakes up the next morning unable to move, remembers a dream where a lot of water was swallowed fighting the waves trying to make it to shore. Opens eyes and sees crab walking sideways on the sand. Tries to move but can't ...too tired... Closes eyes, the scent of the sea filling the lungs, takes a deep breath and falls back to sleep::

Finds a conch shell and blows it, gathering the stranded.
He looks upon them, standing high on a sand dune, with DEP, the professor.
"We wanted to remind you all that whilst you journey around the island there is one thing you want to keep in mind." Said DEP
"Right, do not eat more then three coconuts. Its a natural laxative." I Inform
"We dont know if there are any coconuts on this island. But its good to know, incase you stumble upon them." DEP adds
"Also remember, if you get over heated, take off your shirt, pee on it, and wrap it on your head. It may save your life." I grin.

(sorry, my computer wasn't letting me on plime for a while there, I thought it was down, but I guess not)

She dives below the surface and into the cabin, cans of food are sitting still against a corner where the floor meets the wall. Bottles of alcohol drift by, bags of chips sit towards the "top" of the cabin; floating towards the surface.
There is a pocket of air up near the windows which didn't escape when the cabin became submerged.

I announce that we are saved.
I have fashioned a two way radio out of nothing more than coconuts, vines and sea water.
I call Honolulu and give them our coordinates, which I deduced from the angle of the sun, and my wristwatch.

It's good that you're all focused on the shelter thoug.
Over at the mango a tree a spear comes shooting out the jungle to land in the tree right between coldbladed and cheeselog. A rustle in the trees can be heard, but nothing can be seen.
