What's for Lunch?? Show some lunch love...

cup noodles
Oh the tasty goodness of noodles in styrofoam.

I know your container will kill many birds of the landfill...but still, this will not prevent my love of the noodles.

No, I haven't got a clue how old this kernel of corn is, or where it came from, or why it will look the same later, even after it is chewed...but it doesn't diminish my noodle love.

I just noticed your box carries no expiration date...this just means my noodle love will be timeless.

Sorry...tis boring lunch.

Alternative:

Oh, for the hot, spicy goodness of chicken satay! Dribbled with peanut sauce, moist and juicy meat on a stick...Divinity, thy name is street vendor food!

I'm pretty hit and miss with lunch but when I do it's usually one of these fella's from my local bakery and by local I mean within stones throw...

If not that then a spicy chicken/salmon salad or a pub lunch (with beer) with friends.

This is the view from one of my local pubs that I have lunch at, not hard to see why I go there, eh? :D

Today, a turkey sandwich. Yesterday, well, was also a turkey sandwich, but the receptionist (my bosses mother) made it and it was goooood. When I was stationed in Petaluma I was hooked on...

I even had a computer background that was black with two words on it... Got Ramen?

Hookser, I liked my ramen in a cup too, except would pick out the peas. I hate peas.

I had parpadelle noodles with monk fish, rock shrimp, onions, tomatoes, peppers, all in a butter sauce with a piece of homemade sourdough bread.

I've just been grazing all day:

Crackers, dried fruit, sliced cucumbers, peanut butter, string cheese, three pieces of turkey, two Oreo cookies, key lime yogurt... maybe some wheat thins and hummus in a little bit.

Today is a rare treat. I usually have a boring old sandwich, but since there was quite a bit leftover...I get to have some yummy grilled steak.

Along with it, I am having noodles and cantaloupe. My son is having his usual....BA-RONI-AND-CHEESE.

I had a "meh" Subway sandwich for lunch. 6" BMT on honey oat, double meat, plus bacon. Mayo, lettuce, black olives, oil & vinegar, salt, and pepper. One small bag of SunChips and a big ol' Pibb Xtra.
The Pibb was the best part.
*slurp*

I was there in 88 for RM Training, 89 for EMT Training, and 97-01 as a TC Instructor. I changed flavors around, chicken, roast beef, shrimp, pork.

They opened a Quizno's nearby recently, so I tried a 12" Turkey Cheddar.

It was ok.

I did get a Sobe Elixir "Yumberry Pomegranate Flavored Beverage", which was quite excellent.
