Yes, I'm going to make a tally out of this and propose the "theme" to the plimates. It's up to them whether we follow it or not. I don't want this to fizz out. We're entering a new stage....

I need help. I like the theme Temptation, but now what am I supposed to do? Post in this forum? Start a new one? Just think about it and project my thoughts into the plimosphere? Directions, please.

It's a theme for any items you might post next week in the news section. Anything you post is supposed to be along the theme of temptation. That is if you want to go along with it, I don't think it's compulsory though, as with everything else on plime, it's up to you whether you do or not.

Suebe, what's the reason for this topic? I'm a bit confused, wasn't it supposed to be a daily theme? Or are the daily themes supposed to be part of some weekly theme? I think Maven's thread is more in line with what Jax suggested right?

Hi Ank. Jax suggested daily themes, along with a scavenger hunt. Maven's thread is about the scavenger hunt.

Based on feedback from our fellow plimates, I started this thread about a weekly theme. The general consensus was that daily themes would be too difficult to pull off. If we can do weekly themes, perhaps we can progress to theme days more frequently. We need to walk before we run.

Look at how many people voted on this. No interest perhaps? Let's see how many people catch on. A banner on top of the page would encourage participation.

That makes sense. I was honestly also a bit worried about needing a new theme every day. Days are harder to coordinate around the world as well. The thing is though that you can only 'scavenge' so much on a topic. Having a topic for a week might be a bit too much. I do wonder how it's gonna go though. It seems like Maven's thread had more voters and stuff though.

How are we going to 'decide' which way we're gonna go? Is Jax gonna come back and announce something, or do we just mess around and try and figure something out?

I think having a vote and trying to post all week about the topic would be a start. That's what I'm proposing, again, based on feedback in Jax's thread.

I like both ideas too. I guess we just have to wait for some sort of decision on this. I have to agree though that my preference goes to the week one, and maybe later a day. Or as you said, I prefer that we walk before we run.

Just for clarification, Anky (and long time no see, by the way) Jax said scavenger hunt. Much discussion and thought was put in about how this might actually put off new users if we could only post the daily theme, so it became optional as like an 'added bonus' or something. Then we discussed a weekly theme, sort of the same idea but a week of it and a more complex theme (hopefully) than the dailys.

Ie, daily ideas were "yellow" "pinata" etc; wheras the weekly theme ideas were "temptation" and... uh... some other stuff, I forget.

Both ideas, I believe, will be in play.
