WonderFest is a convention that a group of friends and I have attended every year since 2002. It is coming up on the 18-19 of July. It is an entire weekend of how-to classes, model contests, dealer selling rooms and meet-and-greets with celebrity model-makers and FX creators and artists from movies and comics. You can read all aboot it on the site that is linked at the top of the page.
If anybody is interested in models (not runway models) or comics or movie/comic collectibles, this is a great venue to visit and is not too expensive. If you plan on attending, drop me a PM or just say so in this thread and we can make plans to meet-and-greet. lol
If you have any questions aboot the venue or the surrounding area, shoot me a PM and I will try to answer your to the best of my ability. Hope to see you there, if not this year, then next!
