dont know if this has really been mentioned before, i know ive referenced it at least once, but i really wanted to give it its own thread.

i LOVE the design of plime. both visually and from a UI standpoint, this site is among my favorites on the internet. sure its still got some kinks to work out (its in its baby stage still) but overall i think it is top notch.

the colors are fantastic and perfectly proportioned....the design is sleek and clean (so many web sites today are a cluttered mess). honestly when compared to digg or delicious, i think plime is visually the best and i really like the point system and the balance it gives to the voting on the site.

so just wanted to say awesome job....im embarrassed to admit, but i dont know who is responsible for the design and what not....but whoever you are, awesome job....you have my utmost respect and admiration ;-)

ps- ive also made it my duty to spread the word of plime. i link to plime in my greeting on my personal 1up page which usually gets around 6 or 7 thousand uniques a month so hopefully some of those cats will roll on over here ;-)

Well, thanks! The reason it took so long to launch was precisely the work I put into the UI and design. And from a UI standpoint, there are still quite a few kinks to work out.

Just a note, I won't be around much the next few days, as I am in the middle of a business trip, so my apologies for my absense. I should be back in full force on Monday.

I absolutely want to second everthing you said but this is so important. The design of plime is the first that caught my eye and the reason I stay and contribute. I admit to being partial to purple however.

The fact that you can customize your colour scheme is also a plus.

BTW, Im brining the pale ale... someone bring something non-alcholic yet delcious (is there such a thing?!) for the mommy-to-be!

I've thought about the beautifulness of Plime many a time.

The only thing that I dislike (and this actually has nothing to do with Plime itself) is that my room mate/exboyfriend started showing up on here after I showed him a link on here, and I don't like sharing it with him. He has his websites, and I have mine. (Am I a big baby or what?)

Not at all! My roommate has done the same thing and it annoys me, I want somewhere in the world where I can escape him!

*please note that I adore him and he is the best roommate ever - cause you just never know if he's reading or not :p

On the top left of the page, (in the blue section) I would try to go back to plime.com and click on the link at the top. It goes to

(notice the .plime)

No, that's a bug that's on my list (relatively simple thing to fix too).
