Now, if you see that one set of tickets has a top $10000 prize, but most of the lesser prizes are gone, you don't buy that ticket. And obviously not if the top is gone too.
However, if you see a ticket with 50 $2500 prizes left, wouldnt you rather win 2500max, instead of 2, trying to get 10000. I would.
Its the same reason I dont play progressive slot machines.
Eh, some people just gamble differently.
edit: as for Dr. Phil... I dislike people that think they know how to solve everyone's problems.

I just got a free breakfast (anyone want it? I won't use it...PM me) and Illinois Ave., a red piece.
And, two things:
a) If we're serious about this, someone with a scanner should scan the gameboard so we can collectively mark off the pieces we have.
b) What if someone tries to play and only gets pieces we've already gotten? Do they still get included in the split?

I won the online instant, for a free hour of WiFi.. I dont have a laptop, nor would I feel the need to bring it to MCD's, so if anyone wants it the bidding begins at.. just kidding, drop me a line and I'll forward the email that has the voucher code thingy.
