Just wondering what kind of music is in your library?

My tastes change direction like a fart in a windstorm. Some of what I listen to (in no particular order)...

- Hooverphonic
- VAST
- Tesla
- Garbage
- Johnny Cash
- Dandy Warhols
- Fun Lovin Criminals
- David Bowie
- Aimee Mann
- Godsmack
- Coldplay
- Catherine Wheel
- Sneaker Pimps
- Lifehouse

(I know what you're thinking... how did Johnny Cash get in there).

Johnny Cash is great. Is your Sneaker Pimps the stuff when they still had the chick singing, or when the dude took over?

Currently, I'm jamming to the following:

-PortisHead
-Gorillaz
-RadioHead
-Blur
-Pearl Jam
-Toadies
-Rage Against the Machine
-Chambers Brothers
-Tribe Called Quest
-Blues Traveller
-Dave Matthews Band
-Phish
-Spin Doctors
-Taj Mahal

My music tastes also change on a whim, but recently (as in my Today's playlist), I've been listening to:

Lemon Jelly
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Chemical Brothers
Gorillaz
A.F.I.
Mazzy Star
Teagan and Sara
Carolyn Dawn Johnson
Disturbed
Doc Walker
Alexisonfire
Doobie Brothers

and of course, as always, The Tragically Hip.

It's a bit of a sh!tmix of tunes (and genres), but I like to keep changing it up.

Wow... I like a few of the folks you all mentioned, but I'm not really listening to a single thing anyone else here is.

I have about 2600 songs on my laptop, and had rated every single one of them over time. Then something happened a few weeks ago and I lost all of my ratings. Now I've started over in a new media player, so I'm listening to just about everything I own at random.

Recently I've become addicted to Bright Eyes after my friend got me into them. My musical taste is as random as... I'm at a loss for a good analogy, so pretty damn random can be my description for now. Some bands that have been burning the playlist up(if that made any sense whatsoever) recently:

-Bright Eyes
-Streetlight Manifesto/Catch 22(The ska band, not the metal band. It took me a while to figure out that they're not the same..)
-Get Set Go
-Bad Religion
-The Matches
-Coheed and Cambria
-Green Day
-Rancid
-Savage Garden
-Tupac
-Q Public
-The Bouncing Souls

I can go on for quite a while, and make it even more random. Yes, I like some rap, just not the whole "Smack ma ho up, boobs, looks how much money I have, boobs' and other topics of too much rap nowadays.

AHHH DUDE! I LOOOOVE Shallow Shank. I saw them in Vanatu on Feb 31st last year, They had the whole spectral vibes rig cookin! By the time they lit the portuguese candles the soles of my feet had almost rotted off and my nostrils were stretched like twice the size! When they finally sacrificed the water buffalo I got a nice splattering and I think percy even gave me a wink! I'll remember that show for the rest of my life.. well partially due to the fact that my left ear was seared off and now I have a spontaneous conjoined twin growing out of my side.... Good show.

Your other tastes in music are Sh*t though. Squid Skyway? Dang dude those guys fell off in 1490! I remember Columbus was next to me at one of those arena Sklak record burnings and he was actually pissing into the molten pile of S.S. records screaming at the top of his lungs. Crazy b*****d.

Mad Karma to you DrStrangelove!

You get an A+ and a thumbs up for getting the joke!

Many people would react in an "Emperor's new clothes" way; not willing to admit that they had never heard of at least *some* of those bands.

They are all fictional.
