Why not sticky the actual thread instead of just a link to it? Or am I missing something?

The actual collection is not a thread but an article, and articles can't be directly accessed from the forums.

It was a better way to set it up. There are additional features on the "articles' that you don't have on a thread.

I'm hoping we can have it as a sidebar link some time in the future. Or something similar.
