As a wise person in Puddleby once said, "All karma is deserved" (Prue). Puddleby is the main town of the original MMRPG, Clan Lord, still available for download on Mac and PC and free to play.

The concept that all karma is deserved comes from the self-policing aspect of the game, where players get good or bad karma for their actions. Players sometimes complained if they were getting "karma bombed" by someone, when someone was angry or just being mean. The idea being that karma is about how someone feels towards you, and the fact the you received karma translates to it being deserved, by definition if nothing else :)
