It isn't as hard as it sounds. You have to make a contribution to the site.

Join in with one of the many forum threads. Make comments that are thought provoking, funny or evn just observational. Anything really as long as they have some modicum of content.

You will soon find yourself raising up through the ranks and enjoy the benefits that come with it.

Nope. We used to have a bar thing way way back that would track how far along you were until the next level, but the feature was canned for whatever reason.

Everything has to be synchronized to line up exactly at the correct moment. One second or minute off and you have missed the connection and left standing on the tracks again with no place to go. check out my post Light at the End of the Tunnel
