My big (bigbigbig) gift was a kaplan course so that I can not completely fail my MCATS this spring and subsequently continue on in my quest to become a doctor.
Other than that, I got a few lovely sweaters and:
A baliyo pen. It's a butterfly knife shaped pen. It's also a fisher space pen and thus may accompany me as my writing companion upside down, underwater, or in space. Plus, I can play with it.
Here be the loot I scored Saturday evening at my immediate family's Xmas gathering:
For my Canon SX10IS:
...also:
For my PS3 fix:
For the patriotic citizen in me:
For the film fan in me:
For the Canadian in me:
To make the punthe smell gooder:
I also got an Obama t-shirt and a burgundy long sleeve Canada shirt. A Pink Floyd gift tin with a pair of Pink Floyd boxers inside. A key chain that has a small pile of fake poop on it. Also some cash. It was a good year, but probably the last for a while. I'd imagine that 2009 will be putting a hurt on everyone.
I got tickets to go see my new favorite band, City and Colour. $50 to do with what I choose. Various gift cards and a boat load of vegetarian goodies. Yum.
We were very blessed this year, with an extra check and a bonus.
Santa brought: a train table and set for the boy plus a big wheel. The girls got razor scooters, cd players and houses for their pet shop toys. For the family we got a wii. A lot of games and accessories too. Lark and I got a new digi camera. It's sweet! I got a schnazzy web cam from Santa, lots of smelly soaps--hmmm do I smell bad? Lark got a wireless keyboard and mouse, smelly stuff(does he stink too?) a new hard drive, and some blue tooth thingy that makes my eyes galze over. His PDA and laptop can now talk to each other.
We gave lots of good gifts. We had a blast. I think Lark has Wii shoulder as he and the oldest are the ones who play with it the most.
