Is it just me, or do some of these ladies look seriously pissed off?


This would probably explain some of it. That, and what they did to their hair.

You guys do realize that these ladies, 'models', if you will... are not really making a fool of themselves by wearing this hideous clothing, shoes, make-up and hair, right?

They are being paid to model those, which is what the audience came to see... the clothes, shoes, make-up and hair... not the models...

The only one making a fool of themselves is the designers for creating such awful stuff...

It's not about the models... it's about the stuff on them...

You're right, they are not to blame for the hideous things they wear. They are, after all, only walking dress forms.
What they ARE guilty of is perpetuating the disgusting idea that malnourished, emaciated boys with pituitary gland issues are the female sexual ideal.

No one pointed a gun to their heads to be that way. They made a choice to contribute to that idea because they themselves had little to no self-esteem and confidence to think to themselves they wouldn't look good otherwise...

They are guilty of little else than making a poor life choice...

This is a perfect example of a Fashion's designers' Practical Joke... on the male population at large...

True enough but I'm not so sure about the low self esteem bit.

They can earn fantastic money. I think that's the prime motivator.
