I want to stop smoking. I have heard of subliminal computer programs such as Brain bullet and Think Right Now.

Anyone had any experience of either of these and if so any success?

U can't seriously be thinking some
Person is going to
Vote for a candidate or stop smoking
Or buy a soda because of some
Timed message on a screen that scientists
Even have tried to replicate in labs do you?

My gosh,
Even a monkey wouldn't fall for that!

God, I can't stand your opinion, your text format or your weird random capitalizing. But for some stupid reason, I felt compelled to upvote you.

A few years ago I earned a certificate in hypnotherapy. The opinion of science at that time was attempting suggestion under hypnosis (and that is the process that subliminal tapes use) using a tape recording does not work. If there is new technology that changes that reality I haven't heard of it.

If subliminal messages do work it is not a strong effect and would only influence you subtly to, for example choose a certain brand over another one if there was no immediate reason to select one over the other. But it would not convince you to choose a brand over one you already have a preference for. That makes it pretty unlikely that it would be powerful enough to help you to quit smoking.

Save your money. Learn self-hypnosis or see a hypnotherapist directly.

Chantix available over seas? It's effective. I quit in October of last year, and Hubbin still smokes. I've no desire at all to start again, they still smell awful.

Edit: sykeo...Tomorrow ok? It's too late tonight. I'll let you know.

Whether it works or not, it seems (by this one example) that the corporations still bet money on subliminal ads;
