I've had an idea for a REAL April fools day prank but I've never pulled it off... YET.
Go to the newspaper stands really early on April 1st and buy all the papers out of 2 or 3 of them. Be sure to put enough money in the mach. so no one gets suspicious. Wrap them in plastic and wait until next year for April 1st to come around again. Then go and put one news paper in the front display window of news paper boxs all over your town.
