« tgkprog : i'm prejudiced against most MS on the web - slow and podgy
That's exactly it. I don't even want to try it for a few days because history and experience has told me that any MS search, or basically any MS site online is gonna be slow. Maybe this is different, maybe not.

If it ain't broken, why fix it. If google is giving me everything I want, and more... then why wouldn't I just keep using that?

I don't try bing either. It is because of my expectations. I expect it to return more commercial links than useful links. If I hear otherwise I will probably follow the herd. I am happy to try new things only as long as it is not from Microsoft. Maybe after service pack 3.

You're looking a lot like someone needing karma, but not really participating (a spammer).

Please read the FAQ about participation and karma if you're intentions are honorable.

Or you can try the Bridge of Death over the Gorge of Eternal Perilll.

Looks we're relying on Bob Hope then.

Wait...

Microsoft once made a product called Bob. What's that about?

Depends what the task is. If it's frustrating the user with a badly conceived GUI in epilepsy inducing garish colours then Bob would be your go to guy.

Anything else at all then yeah. Impossible for Bob.

Thank God I never ever experienced that! Funny I'd never even heard of it though.

Not unsurprisingly it didn't last very long.

There is significant potential for Bing to beat Google...lets remember that Google hasn't always been the number one search engine choice. Search engines seem to have their time and then fade away. Google is vulnerable and Bing could quite possibly overtake it in terms of popularity at some point in the near future. Personally, i like both search engines. Check out bingvsgoogle.com - its great :)
