I left my cellphone at home this afternoon. I missed a really important call. I wish I wasn't so forgetful.

A tree stump?

*giggles* Sorry, that makes me think he went tromping through the woods looking, and shot a tree.

I gave up any claim to the garage a long time ago.

Pretty much, yes. But the stump he found was not good enough. So he stopped at a nursery today. *eye roll*

As long as my Pathfinder is not welded or sanded in the process, WHATEVA! lol.

Ooo, you get to park in the garage?!?

*jealous*

There's enough room for a few boxes of my stuff and my four-wheeler. And some gardening stuff that's exempt because technically they are 'tools'. :D

Seeing how it's my house, and thus my garage and I pay the mortgage. YES, I continue to park in the garage. I wouldn't have it any other way!

You, mutil, are not helping any! ;)

His isn't vintage Camaro either. 90's (I think). He seems to be H*ll bent on making these custom fender quarter panels. That in his words "no one else has".

I say, put a paint job on it and supe up the motor, what more do you need???!!

BTW, great pic!

I went to the doctor on Thursday for my left knee. Looks as though it's a knee strain.

I have to go to an athletic specialist in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I won't need surgery.

On a brighter note, I did go to the beach today. That was nice.

I am grateful my dad and brother are OK.

Their Boy Scout troop, which is a pretty hardcore backpacking troop, was on a 10-mile hike in preparation for Philmont. But there were problems, and it was the hottest day since last summer...

Most of the adults gave in to heat exhaustion/early signs of heart attack. One kid is hospitalized for heat exhaustion, on an IV drip. The other boys were in varying states of shock/exhaustion. Fire trucks and ambulances had to help get them out.

But my dad and brother tolerated the heat a little better and didn't pass out and so had to wrangle the rest of the crew and hold things together. I'm proud of my brother for treating his adult leaders for shock/exhaustion when they were becoming clearly incapacitated and losing coherence in their decisions.

They're going to rethink their next hike they had planned, though.

(This hike, in full gear, was supposed to take 3 hours. But it took 11!)

I had almost stopped hating people just on general principle. And then, yesterday afternoon, someone decided to steal flowers from my garden. Calla lilies that are LITERALLY touching my house. A bird of paradise, that I've been waiting to bloom for more than 2 years. almost 3.

Son of a b***h. f**king people.
