Just done half an hour's free lance work that will pay for my next quad biking excursion.

Finding out the Google app, on my new Iphone, let's me do searches by voice recognition.

I also giggle every time it mispronounces my girlfriend's last name, when it's repeating who I want to call.

I boot-skated my way down 800 vertical metres of small scree in less than 15 minutes to get to a flat place for pick-up (by heli).

I love my job :)

A close friend of mine sent me flowers today...the first time anyone has ever sent me flowers. :D

Roommate's boy is in from out of town, first time they see each other since May, this is also when they first started 'talking,' so of course this reunion is beyond cute. On top of that he brought her these gorgeous small white roses surrounded with tiny purple flowers. They're laying on the couch being all cute. I swear, I'm going to puke bunnies and glitter. So here I am, smiling against my will.

Good customer service, twice!

The library just sent me an email to let me know they're going to buy a book I suggested. Yay! Now I can get it for free from them instead of buying it myself!

Also, I sent IKEA a note to let them know that something seemed wrong with a candybar I bought there the other day. (Not looking for a refund or anything, just warning that maybe they had a bad batch or something).
They looked into it, confirmed the chocolate was ok to eat (even if not 'good'), and sent me a coupon for a new $0.99 chocolate. :D

Two new clients!


Had an appointment for one client and ended up with two! Yea me!

Driving around earlier, a car in front of me had a license plate frame that read, "I love dachshunds."

Watching NCIS and Kate asked Gibbs what Ducky looked like as a young man. Gibbs answered "Illya Kuryakin".

Now if you don't know David McCallum, NCIS or Man from U.N.C.L.E. that will make no sense to you, but it made me spit my tea!

I am still smiling that I made it off the mountain in time for pick-up. I was pretty worried that I was descending too slow and would have to spend the night out there or something.

But I'm so stoked I made it down in time and in more or less one piece. Yay!!!

Heh! I saw David McCallum a few years ago walking on Park Ave in NYC. I was with my mom in a taxi and we both said "Illya Kuryakin"! He was lookin' good!
