What happens when this thread reaches 1000? Will we replace it too? Will we keep having to replace them every 1000 posts?

That's going to get really annoying having to sift through threads of the same kind just to find the right one to post in. :/

How will it be annoying? All the old threads will drop off the first page within a few days and you'd have to sift through to find them.

Watching the cat play with her new rattly ball toy.

Stop being so logical and be more reactionary please. It's ruining the chance to moan

Annoying because when searching for a thread through google it will show multiple results for the same thread.

*Googles " let it out thread"*

Gah!

I bought new flowers at this awesome greenhouse this afternoon :D

I put them on my deck to enjoy the sunshine and then headed back to work. They made my deck look pretty :D

Now it's thundering and raining and I'm worried it is hailing on my brand new plants :(

It was my first time on the bike in a couple of years. I actually had to fill the flat tires and dust the thing.

But it was awesome. Views of NYC skyline, Verrazano bridge, Coney Island, Sandy Hook. Right on the water.

Still working on my bike balance, though. It's like riding a bike, they say.

Inner thighs are screaming today.

My brother doesn't believe in the tooth fairy.

He opted out of a root canal and decided to get a wisdom tooth and another pulled and said he was going to make a necklace out of them.

And he did.

It is a beautiful morning. I haven't been around for late spring or early summer in years, and I had forgotten how beautiful it is.

The sun is shining and there's a nice breeze but it's warm outside and everything smells fresh from the rainfall last night and the snow is melting and these flowers I had bought bloomed into the most beautiful bursts of orange and yellow and I am so happy.

I also just love mornings. Today I'm so happy I'm singing. I love being happy.

My dad is getting out of hospital!

He has been in since the 15th May when he mistakenly took 6 days worth of his meds in one hit.

Some of you may know and some of you may not know that he is in the late stages of Parkinson's Disease and he has experienced a lot of delirium.

The last four weeks confined in a geriatric ward have not helped this in any way at all - devoid of external stimulation his mind has run away from him. I'd submit that even the most grounded of us would begin to deteriorate if their life was reduced getting out of bed in the morning and sitting in a chair all day waiting until it was time to get back into bed for that long.

But finally he is coming out. If all goes according to plan, a week from today he will be back in his own home with all his familiar things, habits and routines.

I'm under no illusion that this will cure him of his delirium, but it's got to be better for him to be able to do what he wants, when he wants in familiar surroundings.

Hurrah!
