I kind of agree on that, but also agree that it still needs some refinement. Lord knows Bonsai has done more than his part... But can we establish something for n00bs to go to without having to read through a bunch of comments before finding out what they need to know? Even if it is something that can be changed if/when necessary?

i think certain users need to quit bad mouthing people who aren't here to defend themselves. yoornotme has turned back up, so run with it as far as she's concerned, but mw isn't. either way, his leaving can't be taken personally by anyone so there isn't a reason to attack him. so back off.

While I admire you defending the man in his absense (truly that's an honorable thing to do) I'd like you to read between the lines on his "screw you guys, I'm going home" note left on his homepage.

The more you post, the more it seems like you have some connection to him. Can you just be upfront about who you are or what your relationship is, please? No one will think less of you.

no, i'm not related to him in any way. i'm just a new user, minding my own business, browsing through profiles, noticing two recently left (perhaps in a huff), and using all of that to learn about the site, people, and atmosphere here.

Don't assume that anyone who left, left. A few people have started over with new identities and have turned over a new leaf.

The one major difference between Plime and Worth1000 when it comes to accounts, is I don't mind if people create a new account after being banned by the community. They simply have to start from scratch and prove they are trustworthy again like any new user.

Yes, there is the tendency to post dozens and dozens of articles hoping someone will like them. So. What? What is the harm in that. Such postings will be helpful. Why is it wrong to offer a diverse set of stories for everyone?

Comments of one-liners IF THEY ARE FUNNY will probably get you a few points, but reading the threads it is those that are lengthy debates/conversations which gets the most points.
