It's preferable that they're made of a solid substance such as concrete. Treacle and jam are poor road construction materials.

Are you asking about the laws governing the construction crews or traffic around the construction or the property near the site?

Are you asking about how you (as the driver) must drive around the crew or around other drivers (right-of-way)?

Are you asking about property damage to your home or car while driving through a construction zone?

We'll need more info.

Improperly marked construction zones are grounds for lawsuit against the state.
