I don't understand why they are funny and in this section, or why they are offensive.

One is a man and the other is a woman who has been accused of being a man. Hence the "or were they"

Implying that they are one and the same.

I found it funny.

It may be offensive if she is proven to actually be a she because it is not very nice to be accused of looking like a member of the opposite sex.

They are funny (to ME) because I have a warped sense of humour.

They are offensive to Josh because Casters' gender has been questioned due to her amazing prowess in track and field.

What should be offensive is that anyone would find women not capable of setting world records... in ANY sport.
