I am trying to bring up my children to speak, write and type in the English. Granted new words are springing up all around us but must we really lower ourselves to this level? Especially as most of us are old enough to know better.

Called in to work today. Now I have a fever. My throat is so sore, I have trouble swallowing. I lost my voice. Now I will be 16 hours short this week. That royally sucks ass. My earache is even worse. I might have to see a doctor.

Hot chocolate is my friend.

Even the ducks didn't want my company, and I was bribing them with bread.

You know the kind of information you are supposed to provide to me for announcing new marketing materials. You know I need the information to publish in a newsletter that goes to the CEO of the company. You know I need the information by Monday, so I can include it in the newsletter that goes out, guess when, every Monday.

So...when do you send it to me? Monday at 5:45pm. Incomplete. No descriptions. Nothing accurate. Typos. I had to re-write everything.

By the time I got the newsletter published and distributed it was 7:15pm. I started work at 8am-no breaks. You left at 6:15.

You do this on every every project. Not just mine.

Tomorrow...I'm going to have a nice heart-to-heart with you.

I'm a little afraid of what's behind the loose time in the bathroom here at work.

Also, there's a jar containing Ocean Spray cranberry sauce in the refrig that's been there a looooooong time. Still smells ok.... and every so often, I want a bite of cranberry sauce.

Visiting hours are over. I'm going home.

(Also, I'm a little concerned about what will happen to my job if my boss can't work anymore because of his cancer.)

HR, you should know who I am by now. I've talked with every single HR employee in the last several weeks. I should have been paid last Friday. I hope that the paycheck you insist is coming actually comes. Why do you think my name is Dave...that's my twin. Why is this confusing for you? How many times do I have to tell you that Dave is in China. Is his name going to be on my paycheck?

Also, why does the acceptance letter say that I'm still teaching full time? Didn't you know that the district canceled the class I was teaching?

I feel so s**tty I want to cry!

My head is so stuffed, my chest hurts, my head hurts. I'm all bundled up and it still feels like it's ten degrees in here. Plus I'm working on coughing up that lung. I think one of them is working loose.

I can't get anyone to bring me any medicine or cough drops and I just can't drag myself out to get them.
