Yesterday was cool, I hung out with my mom shopping, and it was fun. We don't have pleasant bonding moments too often. Then after we got home she kept finding thing after thing to get pissed off about.

I really want to move out and not get so stressed by the given hostility in my home. There is too much shouting and blaming. but then we have a good moment, only to have it replaced by more blatant hostility and anger.

No need to apologize for me. ;) I recognize it's a few threads back so you may have missed it. Just letting you know, and why you probably got a few of the downvotes.

By 10am I realized that at least half of the staff was taking my resignation as a personal affront.

Comments ranged from 'I didn't even know you were dating' to 'good luck finding a new position in this economy'.

These were actual comments, to me, not even polite enough to whisper behind my back. Free range rude...





Then 3 restrooms overflowed in sync flooding half of a 100 seat waiting room. It was kind of great. I may/may not have giggled. :x

You guys are so so cute together...

I hate when we have a group of people touring the communications center. We get large groups in and no matter whether they are kids or adults, they all get into my bubble.

I would never think to be breathing down the neck of a 911 dispatcher on a call, but they do just that.

We have to roll around in our little space and I have to go back and forth between goosenecks and monitors. I have spun around and found my face in someones crotch.

What's sad is due to a worker that is no longer there, we are not allowed to have family members come into the comm center as it is distracting.

30 people breathing down your neck is disturbing, too. I feel claustrophobic and under the microscope.
