This thread is for certain members who have very strong opinions, whether those are religious, political, or whatever. This is for those members who normally see certain subjects only in black and white.
Post something that goes against your normal views.
Let's make it positive comments. In other words if you feel Obama walks on water, don't post something negative about him. Instead post something positive about Bush or similar. Of course the opposite is true. If you are someone who thinks that Obama can do no right, that he is a Kenyan-born socialist who worships Allah and who is the reincarnation of Hitler, post something positive about him, some good that he has done or is trying to do.
Those among you - and we know who you are :) who are ultra ultra liberal or conservative should post something that shows the other side in a good light.
Those who are militantly religious or militantly anti-religious, post something that shows something good about the other side.
I think you get the point. It doesn't have to be just the examples given. Just post something that shows a good aspect to what you normally rally against.

Even tho I'm adamantly opposed to the new health care bill, there's no arguing that our current system is an inefficient behemoth and needs some serious reworking.
I tried my hardest to find something nice to say about Nancy Pelosi but just couldn't. If someone else does tho, I promise to up..upvo....um...upvote it, no matter how much my index finger shakes while hovering over the arrow.
What's this post got to do with black or white views? I don't have any political affiliations and barely have a grasp of US politics. It was something I found incredibly insensitive in light of his death.
It was no worse than a hundred and one different Jacko comments and posts made around his death.
Also, until it was brought to light in this thread it was sat at just over 190, now at 85. It can't have been that big a deal to receive a load of upvotes.
On the thread topic, faith and god and religion are great for keeping some people happy and giving them hope when without that hope they may be turning to alcohol, drugs or some other coping mechanism.
Also, I'd like to mention that I've noticed that every article posted here about paedophilia or rape is very negative.
Is there no way of redressing this imbalance?
I'd love to see someone address this...

ha ha ha. My original post had a line about "pelosi haters need not try and find something positive to say about her" but I removed it.
«2manyusernames:Every 14-year old boy should be instructed on proper lovemaking by a hot teacher. Their future lovers will greatly appreciate it as will the boys.
(although technically sex with a post-pubescent child is not paedophilia)
Now say the exact same thing about a 14yo girl and see how many dv's you get :D
*edit* which illustrates to me that some people don't want to know what people really think, they just want to hear what they agree with and beleive.
