Is there a name for that moment, when you open the dryer to your nice hot clothes, see bits of paper start falling out, and suddenly get that panicky feeling of just what the f*ck did I just wash and dry with my clothes?

Which brings me to my new rule on gum transportation. If I'm wearing cargo shorts, you know the ones with eight pockets of various sizes and locations, I will not stick a brand new 15 piece pack of Extra peppermint gum in some obscure pocket. One that I will then forget about ten minutes later, and never, ever, check later before washing said shorts.

One the plus side, that pocket is now about as minty fresh as it's ever going to get.

Maybe a rule regarding purchasing clothing that includes obscure pockets would be in order?

I thought at the time of purchase, that one can never have too many pockets. Of course I didn't consider the potential complications on wash day.

Problem is, I now realize I only need three pockets, but one has to be the right hip pocket. Never the left. I have absolutely no use for back left pocket.

Sigh. This is going to make clothes shopping even more tedious than before. Tedious for me is just finding the men's section.

Which just gave me a great idea. Men's clothing convenient stores. With beer. Maybe even a drivethru. Just need a name....maybe "Still on a Hanger".

(I should really cut back on the sweet tea consumption late in the evenings)

Now imagine that almost all your pants are black, with at least 6 pockets each, and you know how much my life sucks.

Sew up (or glue shut) the unnecessary pockets?

side note - professionals make a lot of mistakes too .... Tata software released a new version of income tax software. when the IT guys tested they found bugs, quite a few bugs. 600 to be exact lol ! i find it very funny cause that is exactly what these big cos say when they ask for $25+ per person (when i work for half that) they have qa, middle managers, green belts, blaclk belts, all scampering around ... jsut get a few more developers people! we know how to test, heck we can even automate quite a bit of the testing

Wear painted on jeans (like moi). I can't even USE the pockets, so no problems!
