They gonna be releasing it in 3d after it's done at the movie theaters? I believe I'll buy it at that point.

So I am going to share with you all an anecdote from my past that, thinking about it now is quite humorous. I remember this out the blue, one morning 3 months ago.

Back in 1998, after graduating from College in Houston, TX, I got my first job in Galveston, TX. I moved there to be closer to where I worked.

I didn't have much back then, since I had lived at my dad's house while in college and with the little money I had saved from the job, I decided to go to the local store and buy a couch.

I put it on lay-away (it's a payment plan, where you make payments and once it is paid off, you can take your item) I made timely payments until it was paid off.

By the time it was paid off, I was sick of the job, I quit and moved back to Houston. I had already gotten another job by then and I didn't think I had forgotten anything in Galveston.

11 years have passed and I have no idea what happened to that couch. I didn't go pick it up. Hurricane Ike probably has it, who knows...

I feel indifferent, sure it's money I will never see again, neither in cash nor in couch form, but it is in the past. It retrospect, it was a nice couch... but I don't miss and it is a nice memory...

Even if I didn't get to sleep on it...

« KerOBeroS32 : layaway plan

That's funny. I had an "outfit" on layaway for an extended period of time way back when. Went back to the store to pay it off after neglecting payments for a number of months--maybe even a year.

Amazingly, they still had it. They were putting it back on the rack. I paid it off and wore it for my niece's christening - I was godmother.

I hated the big shoulders fad.

I have broad shoulders, so adding any padding at all makes me rival your average football player.

Today is my birthday! (Mad Hatter's Day, what else would you expect? :-P). It started off s**tty because I had to deal with lawyers but right now I'm relaxing at the library and waiting for tonight. Me, my mom, and my stepdad will be going out to eat and then off to see Zombieland(can't wait. my mom is terrified of zombies >:-D).

Then tomorrow I will be going into NY, so suebe I will be contacting you later to set up a meet time.

I'll update more later. MUAHZIES!
