That is a nice way to look at it. An other would have been to draw the Venn diagrams, and ask the question about each language: how many people does not speak it. And of course fill the Venn diagram accordingly. (20% does not speak English, etc...)

Long enough at least for me to agree to doing you that favor last week - you know, booking 10k worth of filming equipment at school for you, since you failed to replace some minor item that got lost during a prior shooting, and are therefore currently on the black list. I booked it all in my name, signed the papers and handed it to you. No problem, really. I owed you one, anyway.
But please tell me: If (just hypothetically!) something had happened to that stuff - dunno, the van had fallen into the river or something like that - you would immediately tell me, wouldn't you? I mean you wouldn't just ignore my phonecalls and run away, right? Just asking, because I've been calling you for several days now, and you never replied to my voicemails and texts. I'm not overly obsessed with the stuff, but you know, I have to return it by tomorrow morning. All of it. In good condition, and in time. That's why I kept calling you. Because in order to return it, I need to get it back from you first. But you really would tell me if there was anything wrong with, wouldn't you? You know you totally could. If there was a problem, we would find a way to solve it, wouldn't we?
