That's still in the realms of "dirty", isn't it?

At least it is the way I'd do it.

I accidentally infected my computer with Windows earlier today by clicking on an email attachment that was set to open in Internet explorer by default.
It started Parallels immediately, which would continue to start up XP in the background even after I forcefully quit it.

I got weird Windows sounds out of nowhere all evening, but nothing showed up in the processes manager.

I had to restart the computer for the first time since like late June.

There are 6 feeding stations on the hummingbird feeder. It's clear full.

And yet, four hummingbirds can not share. They buzz each other, they call each other names, they chase each other around and around. From one station to another, over and over, always trying to be opposite from all the other birds.

There's a lesson in there somewhere, I'm just not sure what.

I don't know about you guys, but some morons in our parliament decided to bump back the weekend where we change our clocks. I think it's so we match the US or some other BS reason.

It just makes me mad because our daylight becomes so limited and changing the clocks later in the fall and earlier in the spring minimizes our exposure to and use of the sunlight.

:(

We will change our clocks next Sunday morning. I will definitely enjoy the extra hour of sleep, since it'll be a late night with Hallowe'en parties!

I like it, although when I lived in Scotland it made no difference as I would go to work in the dark and come home in the dark in winter anyway.

At least being a few hundred miles further south now I can get up when it's light in wintertime.
