If you do not read this line
you get $10 million!

You have read it.
You messed it up.

Believe me, this really works.

I have also read it and did not get $10 million.
At last a chain letter that really works.
Send it to 10 of your friends and they will not get $10 million either.

Well it's not as bad as it seems. Because I haven't been at this job for long and I was part-time they can't give me a leave of absence, but depending on when I'm healthy again I can have the same position back. If they've filled that position by the time I'm healthy they'll still hire me back at a different branch when there's an opening. So it's not really as bad as it seems. Plus I figured this would happen anyways since we were short-handed even with me working.

Oh, and thanks Obama for lowering COBRA's deductible to 30%. *Thumbs up* Now to get healthy....

It feels so good to be home, but I think I just finished work for the winter so I'm sad it's done. On the bright side, I think I made enough money to be able to spend most, if not all, of my winter being a ski bum.

Yay darn Woooo boooo. Mixed feelings, but there's nothing I can do about it!

The wind's been blowing like crazy here. I tried to get a video of the trees swaying but of course as soon as I bust out the camera it calmed down. 5 minutes later the power goes out because the wind's blowing so hard.... Fun filled day. I'm expecting monsters come midnight. :/

OK, the weirdest thing just happened to me.

I was out downtown taking a few photos. It was past 1 AM already, there was nobody else around. I had just set up my camera on a tripod for some bracketed shot and was squatting next to it, when suddenly this guy walked up to a bicycle locked to a lamp-post right next to me. He grabbed the bike and ripped it right off. Then he discovered me and my camera, being very interested in how much it was worth and how easy it would be to steal it from me (easy). He was obviously extremely high, but cheerful enough to tell me about his uncle, who's a photographer - hence his knowledge about which cameras are worth mugging people for. He then insisted on posing for a few shots with the stolen bike, which I gladly accorded to him in order to buy me some time to make an escape plan.
While posing, Martin, as he formally introduced himself to me by showing me his ID, told me about his life as a drug addict and dealer, and about his beautiful 160 lb boxer. I was just pondering my chances of defeating a junkie with a dog heavier than myself when Martin's junkie buddy showed up on another stolen bike. He was obviously in a hurry because of some business appointment at 01:30.
Luckily, Martin had totally forgotten his mugging intentions over the photo session, and he even agreed to place his bike nicely in my frame for my actual shot. He made his buddy wait for me to finish the 7-stop bracket, which took about 5 more minutes, then he grabbed his new bike and scooted.

Edit: Final pic is here. Thanks, Martin.

Neighbour (who came over to thank me for shovelling the snow from her porch and sidewalk): Oh, a spicy gumbo! What a great idea for supper on a cold snowy night like tonight! And I just love the selection of veggies you used, the colours really compliment each other and make it look even more tasty! You always put such thought into your meals!

Me (out loud): Thanks! You're welcome to stay for some if you'd like!

Me (in my head): Sweet! She thinks I planned this when really I am so lazy this evening that I decided to make something using the ingredients I have AND only dirtying one pot!

I'm going to get another tattoo and I need some assistance in designing certain parts of it.

I want to incorporate this ambigram and the number "26.2". I would like to make it into an armband, with the EGA on the back side of the arm (where the arm rests on your side).

The main assistance I need is the part of the tattoo that is NOT the ambigram, EGA, or 26.2.....basically, the design that incorporates it all together.

Anyone??? Anyone????

I'm not artistic, but I was thinking of something that looked like a trail, or a road...Symbol of the journey. Footprints, from a running shoe or combat boot, but that seems very busy.

For this, though...I hate you. And all my other Colorado and Wyoming friends, too.

scray - a new super power bully in the making, spreading its ideology. first Nepal has gone Communist, now in India there are attacks every week, the biggest yesterday a whole train held hostage for a few hours! add to that the Chinese telling us we cannot go to Arunachael Pradesh (a stage that borders them) even though the people there have been voting, paying taxes and have no affliation to China. (source what I have read in the orkut forums, news papers and what people from North east India, the seven sister states, have told me)

Don't hate me quite yet. The only place in the entire state where it didn't snow was on the stretch of highway I drive to get to work.
