I was chopping kindling for the fire and I couldn't get one last piece to break, so I sort of held it in place while just tapping it with the axe. Just as I thought what a great way to get an axe to the hand, the axe deflected and landed in my knuckle.

It bled lots, but I had a first aid kit handy and managed to keep the cut clean and fairly sterile, so it healed quickly and with no infection, which is kind of remarkable, considering how dirty we were.

Just a tiny axe wound.

Currently taking turns getting poked with a plastic hangar and feigning death throes with my little brother. When I go through my death throes, he keeps poking me when I'm down. The boy is ruthless.

It's a good zombie killing technique. NEVER trust that the enemy is dead until you've cut off their head and ripped out the heart.

Or brains.

Whichever you can find.

My mum makes terrible sandwiches. She never spreads the butter or mayo, and she doesn't lay things out evenly.... Terrible! What kind of a mother have I??
