Walking in the rain today, sharing an umbrella with my hubby, and *narrowly* missing getting splashed like those kids on that youtube video. I shook my fist at the evil driver and we happily made our way home.

sanity's overrated. just sayin'

Climbed out of a canyon to get my bearings......

I'm glad someone told me. My nipples are SO sore.

I met this boy on the way up to the club on Thursday. Saw him again on Sunday for a school thing.

Last night he texts me to see if I'm working (I was). He and his bff came in to visit me! And they live right next to a Chili's, but they drove all the way across town to visit :D

I'm excited. He invited me to his halloween party on friday night too! :D

BF is out somewhere over the next range hunting deer.

Deer are in the neighbour's yard, eating the trees.

He's going to be so mad when he (likely) comes home empty-handed and sees deer tracks everywhere in the snow here!

SNOW DAY!!! I'm going to watch TV and make Halloween treats all friggin' day! Except for now, of course, cuz I'm goin' back to bed :).




(Okay, so it didn't really snow all that much, but the roads are nasty and I work 50 miles away from home, so yeah, I'm not driving today.)

I hadn't... thanks! I'm reminded of a former patient at the psych hospital I work at. When he got out his 'bow and arrow', that was his way of saying he needed medicine. I kinda miss him, he was one of my most memorable patients (in a good way).

Someone wrote "Dessert Storm" in a story about veterans.

I really like the image of a storm of desserts! Oh, the falling ice cream! The chocolate syrup! The most wonderful storm of all!

I finally screwed up the courage to list some of my angels n stuff on Etsy this afternoon. It was kinda thrilling when I saw where people were looking at my items. Then, I showed Husby the site and discovered I've already made two sales! Woohoo!!!

I was discussing school with my 7 year old son and he was telling me about how they were learning the difference between reptiles and mammals.

He went on to explain how mammals are warm blooded and bear their young alive (being sure to note the platypus as an exception). I asked him to give me an example of a mammal. He then turned to me with his best "duh" look and said "mom is a mammal"

...smiling - I said you are absolutely correct! She is indeed a mammal.
