When I went "Dan-e-Oshun" this summer I only wanted to shoot one thing...surfers. I found these guys at 13th street.

Is that really your office? Do you do fieldwork, too?

I actually just wanted to snap a pic in order to prove that it snowed today, but it turned out pretty cool:

Yes I work in the field.....I am an inspector and tester at construction sites, most of which are federal projects at National parks, State parks, National monument and such......

This is what I woke up to this morning. It's really pretty, but I've heard a few trees pop already, and one big limb landed on our storage shed.





Edit: The not-so-pretty side of it. A woman just crashed her minivan outside my house. She's fine- I ran out to check on her and make sure she had already called 911. She didn't look injured at all, just scared s**tless.

Beach, this morning

Midnight. Not a sound from the pavement*.

Why would there be? Pavements are not noted for the noises they make. No-one ever says "I'd move to the city but for the sound of the pavements."

And it was 2am. So ignore that first line.

Just as an aside, and not sure how much sense this will make, but it tickled me - the randomness of the way pictures load in action.

I was looking at the captions regarding Suckersklub's grandparents. As the pictures loaded the page jumped to Blurmore's BMX pics and for just a moment I thought "Oh, that's good - they keep active."

Your Grandpa looks really tired.
