Five, at 1 f-stop more/less each. I'm not really happy about the overall brightness yet (it's too dark...); maybe I'll tonemap it again one day.

Nothing fancy, just some pictures around my yard.

A flowering plum in front of my side kitchen window (no fruit)

Peach tree in the back yard. This one is too young for fruit yet.

Daffodils in my back yard. There share the barrel with a Japanese maple, but it's naked still.

I didn't take pictures of the pear or the fig trees because are still naked. I'll take them later.

They dress themselves, but I do respect their privacy while naked.

Pretty bird I saw out yesterday, I have no idea what he is though. About 1.5-2m wingspan and rather scary. Any ideas?

After blowing up your picture

and looking at it closer, I think it's a peregrine falcon

Wouldn't you say they look close (especially the one on the right)?

finally getting a bit of spring around here. the magnolia trees at my school campus bloomed and wilted before i could bring my camera, but it was then the perfect time to catch the apple trees there.

thanks! heh, i used a bit of color tweaking with photoshop, i'll confess. i'm still learning how to manipulate the million and one light settings on my new SLR camera.

i hope once i learn what all the settings, buttons, knobs, levers, strings and smoke signals do on the camera, i'd need a lot less post-editing.
