Damn it was a perfect day in The Navajo Nation today....

I love animal pictures even though they are the hardest to get. Especially clear close ups.

This is Turbo and Moon. Turbo (guinea pig) passed away a couple of months ago so now my friend just has Moon (bunny) and Panda (rat) living together. I think they are both close to the end so she didn't want either of them to be alone. Edit: if you are wondering about Moon's fabulous haircut, it turns out that Turbo gave her a trim. It has been like this for a couple of years and my friend couldn't figure out why she was losing it.

No it was painted on the side of the water tank...that's the only reason I stopped to get a picture, seemed a bit "out of place" to me.

Apologies in advance for the cell phone pics, but in my rush to leave home, I forgot my camera. Husby and I went to southeastern Indiana for a quick overnight, and returned today. I am trying to figure out how to download the pics off my blackberry without going through Facebook, but that's another story. Anyway...

This morning, we left Corydon and made our way to Leavenworth, where I wish we'd had supper at sunset last night. This morning, it was raining. There's a restaurant called the Overlook, and you can see forever from there. This is the Ohio River looking westward.

As soon as I resolve my technical difficulties, I'll post the Huber Winery pics. Kids, make sure you eat before going to the tasting room!

Just took this pic of an awesome powder green moth we found out in our driveway. Looked it up on the interweb and it turns out that it is a "Luna Moth" - considered a sign of good fortune (yeah!).
