Woke up this morning and found "Spidersaurus Rex" in my front yard. He spun a web big enough to catch a Volkswagen.

Who knew...blight can be beautiful.

Orb weavers are SOOOO COOOOL!!! If you ever get a chance to go to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park (aka the Washington Zoo) they have Madagascar Orb weavers....Like something directly out of an Indiana Jones movie....HUGE orb weavers with THICK webs...

I attended without a proper macro lens...(I'm not much into macros or most bugs) This was the best I could do with an 85 prime.

Yeah, I'd've used half a can of raid, and an uzi on that one! But only after taking some cool photos.

A few of my moonflowers bloomed last night.


This guy came back a few times, he really liked it.

We took the kid to see a hot air balloon launch this weekend. She seemed to love it once she got used to the sound of them blowing the balloons up and the sight of 6' tall flames.
