This smacks of The Onion.

It seems to be saying that many churches are focusing on cultivating the coffee shop feel rather than a cold, sterile buildings of worship.

Edit to add: I attend services at a church that places a value on providing coffee for those who attend. It's good free-trade stuff too. I think giving someone coffee is like giving them a hug.
